Optical illusion
Nicolas Brulez, better known as The Tattoorialist, is a famous French photographer. Nicknamed the “tattoo hunter”, he enjoys taking portraits of tattooed people to highlight these unique and historical pieces.
Author of the book The tattoorialist, he presents the portrait of 100 tattooed people from the capitals Berlin, Paris and Montreal. To do this, he delves into the heart of subcultures to discover their codes and highlight them with great authenticity. Always looking for beautiful projects, he wanted to join his fellow tattoo artists to imagine a board that would make him dream. It is therefore towards optical illusion that he turned to imagine the ILLUSION board, composed of 4 tattoos in his image.
